What is GrabPay Later?
GrabPay Later offer 0% payment plan for a checkout/purchase which to split into 4 equal payments using credit, debit or FPX payment.
PayLater By GrabPay
GrabPay provides 2 PayLater payment methods – PayLater Instalments and PayLater Postpaid via Grab e-wallet. Once you've activated PayLater, you'll be entitled to both PayLater Instalments and Postpaid.
PayLater Instalments is a payment method for you to spread your online shopping bill into 4 interest-free monthly instalments. Your monthly instalments will be deducted automatically from your GrabPay balance or a linked card.
PayLater Postpaid allows you to consolidate payments for Grab services (e.g. rides, food, and deliveries) and purchases from online partners on a monthly basis, interest-free. At the end of the month, your transactions will be consolidated into a single bill that you can settle using your GrabPay balance before the due date.
To ensure safe spending practices, you will be assigned a unique PayLater Amount based on your user profile and payment practices and it is subject to change from time to time. This means, the longer you have been using PayLater and the more orders you have successfully repaid according to your payment schedule, the more likely you will be able to spend more.
- Available amount is the maximum amount you are allowed to spend across Postpaid and Installments and is the same amount as your Installment Available Amount.
- Installments available amount is the maximum amount you are allowed to use for Installments purchases and is the same as your Total Amount.
- Postpaid available amount is a subset of your Installments available amount.
Installments available amount is not transferable for Postpaid use.
This means, for example, you may be granted $1500 for Installments and $500 for Postpaid, your Available amount will reflect as $1500, which is the higher amount of the two. If you spend $500 using Postpaid, you will be left with $1000 for Installments and $0 for Postpaid. The $1000 allocated to Installments is not transferable to Postpaid.

Am I eligible for PayLater?
Grab users who are eligible for PayLater should be
1. 21 years and older
2. Platinum, Gold or Silver GrabRewards tier member, and
3. Have used either cash, credit or debit card for at least 3 Grab transactions in the recent months.
If you’re eligible for PayLater, you’ll be able to activate it in-app, or simply launch your Grab app, tap on Payments, tap on Enjoy Now and Pay Later under Explore GrabPay.
If you don’t see the PayLater option, we’re unfortunately unable to offer this service to you just yet. All approvals are subject to our internal review.

Will I get GrabReward points if I pay using PayLater?
An easy way to track if you’re earning GrabRewards points for your selected Grab payment method is to check it during the checkout flow. GrabRewards points is awarded for every PayLater Postpaid transaction.
While PayLater Instalments does not currently award any GrabRewards points, you can look out for our various exciting promotions and merchant offers for great value at our merchant directory.
Is there a cost to using PayLater?
PayLater is a free service offered by retailers to you – there are no upfront fees charged or any interest accrued.
The only fee that may be incurred is admin fee to reactivate your suspended account. Your PayLater account may be suspended if you have overdue PayLater bill and you do not make any payments after being notified by us.
